This weekend I decided to finally bottle my batch of Orange Blossom Mead that I started back in January. This was my first attempt at a straight mead without adding any other ingredients to enhance the flavors. I used an Orange Blossom Honey from a local orange grove nearby and one of the oranges from the tree in our front yard. I didn’t detect any of the flavors from the orange that I added but wasn’t wanting an orange mead, anyway. The final product is a dry mead with very little sugar left in it and a nice flavor of the honey without the sweetness.
