Puzzled about how to hook up the trim tab cable all night. Finally, it came to me. Use bushings like I did for the control stick. Cut two 3/16" bushings from 5/16" steel tube I have left over. Ended up cutting my finger on the hack saw. Took off the trim tab control lever and drilled the top hole with a 5/16" drill bit. Got a 1/2"-10 Philips screw from ace and using two washers, fastened it to the control lever and put it back in the cockpit. Did the same to the trim tab horn. Discovered that the cable is about 1" too far back and moved it forward. I have an issue with the cable that when I move the elevator up, the cable binds then "pops" out. Elevator will now stay neutral without me holding onto the control stick which I don't want to happen.
