Tail Wheel

Cut slots into the gussets of the tail for the rudder cables to fit through that connect to the steering bar. I then clamped the cables onto the steering bar and tied cord to from the steering bar to the tail wheel. I wanted to make sure I had the leaf spring bent enough to let the tail wheel turn with the steering bar. And it worked! Finally I'm having some success with this thing that keeps trying to frustrate me.

I'll replace the cord with chains and springs and connect the cable to the stearing bar after I get the fuselage covered and painted. Even though the tail wheel turns, I still think I'll bend the other end of the leaf spring to line up the tail wheel  a little better.
