Birthday present to myself

It's my Birthday! Well, actually, tomorrow is my birthday. But, It’s my birthday weekend. So, I ran down to Woodcraft and got a piece of 3/8" birch plywood to make my engine mount out of. Cut it out and applied some spray on varnish as I had no brush that wasn’t rock hard from using on the varnish previously. Need to let it dry and then put on the engine mounts and work on getting the engine running and covering the aircraft. The end to this project is within sight maybe in a year or so when I’ll be able to take it for a test flight.
