My first piece of wood arrived today from Spruce Aircraft. I now have a 2x4 sheet of 1/16” birch plywood sitting on the porch. I now need to get a place to work on it. Dan is going to help me get some plywood from Home Depot on Saturday. I'm hoping to get most of my wood locally. However, I'm having troubles getting help once I tell the sales people that I'm building an airplane. I either get stupid jokes or just a flat refusal to help. This bigoted attitude is staring to really get me P.O'd.
