Wing spars

I finished applying the last coat of varnish to the spars today closing out this portion of the airplane build. I'm really pleased with the results and love the color of the wood and how the grain pops out. It's too bad that I can't build the finished airplane with the exposed wood grain showing. But, the covering would hide the wood grain and not allow it to be as sturdy when finished. Now, I need to finish making the hinges for the ribs before I can assemble the wings.
