Control system

Cut out the trim tab and trim tab horn. I used 6061-T6 .063 thick aluminum sheet. The trim tab is 24" by 3" and the horn is cut from a piece 3" by 3". The rivet holes are 1/2" from the edge.

The trim tab horn is mounted 1 1/2" off center on the side the trim tab control cable is on.

Clamped the trim tab horn to the work bench with the edge where I wanted the bend to be and beat it with a hammer to about a 90-degree angle. Used the grinder to round off the edges except where it's mounted to the trim tab.
