Wing Assembly

I glued on the first third of the LE for the middle section. Here is how I figured out how to put on the LE plywood without breaking it or making it look like crap. I clamp down the top and mark where the stringer hits the plywood. I then take it off and measure how far down the stringer hits the plywood (about 9 inches) and put a mark down the middle of the sheet. I then draw a solid line across the length of the sheet. I then put tick marks along each edge for the top of the LE. Finally, mark on the stringer line where the ribs are and two marks between each rib 5 inches apart. I then glue the first 4 inches down using scrap wood and clamps along the top and aircraft nails at the tick marks on the side. After that is dry, glue to the stringer and tack with nails. Last, glue the last holding very tight with straps. must have the compression support installed or you will buckle the ribs and might break them.
