This is a summary for the entire weekend. With temps hovering around 108, I spent as little time in the garage as I could. The longest I stayed outside was 45 minutes and I was dying after.
Friday night, I finished ironing the side of the fuselage. Saturday morning, I turned the fuselage right side up and cut out the material for the rear turtle deck. That afternoon I cut out the fabric for the forward turtle deck. Sunday, I glued and shrunk the forward and rear turtle deck over several little steps. Gluing the rear turtle deck to 45 minutes and I was really sweating when I was done. Saturday night, I turned the fuselage on its other side to mark the holes and prepare to grind down the leading edge to match the wing leading edge.
