Landing Gear

The bolts came in the mail tonight from Aircraft Spruce which have been holding up my construction process. I can finish the landing gear now after sitting on it for too long in my opinion. These are special bolts that I’m not able to find from a local supplier even at the airport. It seems that I’m not using standard parts in some of the construction and the techniques aren’t being used. Wood aircraft construction is a special skill that a lot of aircraft mechanics don’t have so I’m on my own for a lot of it. I have a forum I go to but that’s not quite as nice as a real person to talk to get ideas from who can touch and hold what I’m working on.
