I cut the two 1 1/8" holes for the axle. Mounted the legs onto the workbench and fit the axle into position. Discovered the one axle is off by about a 1/16" and had to file it into position making sure it went in smoothly. After I got all the hardware to fit, took it all off and started to varnish the legs after first checking the surface for blemished and sanding smooth. I still need to order the remaining hardware from Spruce Aircraft before I can finish putting the landing gear together.
