Disk Brake Adapters

Cut out the disk brake adapters for both wheels from some scrap steel bar that I had laying around in my metal box. Decided to wait and finish them after I can save up to buy the disks and calipers from a bike shop. My thought is to use bike brakes rated for over 600 lbs. and attach them to the wheels that I currently have. I’m thinking that they should have more than enough force to stop the airplane that weighs only 600 lbs. I’m not really impressed with what I’ve been seeing online about the band breaks and brake handle on the yoke.
